Kenya Property Check offers a consulting service designed for investors who want solid feedback on properties they’ve already identified, avoiding unnecessary trips and focusing their time only on the properties truly worth visiting.
Our goal is simple: to let you arrive in Kenya with an already-vetted shortlist, so you can spend your stay on negotiations and final decisions rather than on preliminary research.
What we can check
Depending on the client’s needs, the site visit can include:
- up-to-date photo and video documentation;
- verification of the property’s actual condition compared to the listing;
- the overall condition of the property;
- the quality of finishes and level of maintenance;
- the state of the common areas and surroundings;
- an analysis of the neighborhood and nearby amenities;
- accessibility of the area;
- initial information about the neighborhood and surrounding environment;
- any factors that could affect the value of the investment.
Every assignment is different, which is why the level of detail is agreed in advance based on the client’s requests.

The photos published in listings almost always show a property’s best side.
What often doesn’t come through is the context the property sits in.
A particularly busy road, run-down buildings nearby, noise, commercial activity, poorly maintained common areas, or other issues that can affect the quality of the investment are rarely mentioned in a listing.
Observing these details directly on site provides a far more realistic picture of the property.
