Property portals, social media listings, local agencies, private contacts, and unadvertised opportunities make the market very fragmented. For a foreign investor, it’s often hard to understand which properties are genuinely interesting and which match their own budget and goals.
Kenya Property Check’s Property Scout service was created for exactly this reason:
to research, select, and present the client with a shortlist of properties that meet the agreed criteria, leaving the final decision to them.
A personalized search service
Every investor has different needs.
Some are looking for a beachfront villa, others for an apartment to rent out, and others still for buildable land or a plot for future development.
That’s why every search begins with a discussion with the client, during which we define:
- available budget;
- type of property;
- geographic area of interest;
- purpose of the investment;
- features considered essential.
Based on this information, we carry out a targeted search aimed at identifying the opportunities that best match the client’s requirements.
Research that goes beyond the standard property portals
Our search isn’t limited to listings published online.
We assess properties found on the main real estate portals as well as those available through local contacts and opportunities that, in some cases, aren’t advertised through traditional channels.
This gives the client a broader overview of the market and access to options they would be unlikely to find on their own.
An independent service
Kenya Property Check does not operate as a real estate agency.
We do not promote properties on behalf of sellers and we do not receive commissions on sales.
Our fee consists solely of the consulting requested by the client and is calculated transparently based on the time spent on the search, the organization of activities, and the costs incurred in carrying out the assignment.
This independence allows us to work exclusively in the investor’s interest, selecting opportunities based on their needs rather than commercial interests.

A clear, well-organized report
At the end of the search, we prepare a selection of the properties considered most interesting, along with photos, videos, and useful information to allow for an initial remote assessment.
The goal is to give the client a solid basis for deciding which properties to look into further in the next stages of the purchasing process.
